Books On Sales Sales Ideas To Out-fox Your Competitors
Books on sales may be one of the
best selling resources available and one of the most under utilized.
One of the reasons this happens is
caused by the CDM - College Diploma
Mentality. "Look, I graduated with my degree and I've
read my last book." You'd be absolutely amazed how many salespeople think
like this.
Another reason why entrepreneurs
and professional salespeople don't read books is they honestly believe they
don't have the time to do it.
Think of reading like the hospitals
use IV's. It's one drip at a time. Just 15 minutes a day reading books on sales
can make a world of difference. Reading becomes your selling IV.
If you're not reading books on sales
and business magazines, where are you getting your creative ideas from?
Imagine you sales prospects and customers
see 10 -15 salespeople a week. Also imagine only one of these salespeople has
disciplined himself to invest 15 minutes every day to reading books and magazines
that can have a positive impact on his business.
Which of these sales reps will be
better informed?
Which of these sales reps will sound
more professional?
Which of these sales reps will be
a better conversationalist?
Which of these sales reps will have
a more positive first impression?
You bet - the one who reads! Experience
counts. You create a dynamic duo when you combine outside reading with sales
experience.
The following is a list of books
I recommend. I'll start with 5 sales books I've written. I'll also include 5
books written by others.
Next to each book you'll find a link
to order the book.
You'd have to be devoid of any brain
cells to read any of these books on sales and not be able to pick-up sales ideas
that would give you an immediate payback.
