Starting out right

by Irene Odom
(Mobile, Alabama)

When I'm starting the day, before I pick up the phone, or check an e-mail, I always look at a little posted note which I placed where I could see it.

It has "What's your objective?" That way I always have my reason for working. Right now, I'm trying to save money to get a replacement automobile for myself.

But my main objective is to get where I don't have to borrow money from anyone to pay a bill. I also want to be able to tithe regularly at my church.I have the knowledge, I know all the rebuttals and objections. I know how to handle natural sales resistance.

Everyone likes to buy, but no one likes to be sold to. So I must have my objective #1 in my head to focus on getting the customer what they want so I can achieve what I want.
